Ford Agency DBA/Somatic Trauma Therapy Institute Inc. (or “we”) may collect personal information about the users who visit www.somaticstraumatherpy.com and all content, services and products available at or through the website, including, but not limited to, associated blogs, forums, and websites. Information is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia) (“PIPA”) and, to the extent applicable, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) (“PIPEDA”).

By accessing or using the Site, you are accepting the current version of this Privacy Policy, on behalf of yourself or the entity that you represent, and you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to consent to this Privacy Policy, on behalf of yourself or the entity that you represent. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file. With our merchant account, you have the option to save your payment details to make future ordering easier. In order to use this function, you will need to set up authentication using your mobile phone so that your information can only be re-accessed, on your computer, with a verification code that will be texted to you upon request. We do not store or save your information in our merchant account but will, if you request that feature.

 

DO WE USE COOKIES?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow cookies) that enable the sites or service provider systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
